Night at HAUNT The ZOO

We had a wonderful evening last night spent with family and friends.  We went to the 27th annual Halloween event out at the zoo for the very first time.  Let me just tell you, it was pure chaos.  There was so many people there it was ridiculous, we were jammed in like a herd of cattle inching along the pathway.  I had no idea it was going to be like that, when they say it's the biggest Halloween event in Oklahoma, they are not kidding....  Despite the chaos though, we still had a good time.  The event really is awesome, so many cool spots decorated with its own theme, all the volunteers are dressed in costume matching the themes they are working.  That was the only bad thing, that it was so crowded we felt like we couldn't fully enjoy all the displays but we made the best of it.  They gave out great treats to the kids.  All the kids got to dress in their Halloween costumes & some of the parents did as well, they were all so adorable and fun!  Some parents get an A for being so clever with their child's costume, I don't know how they come up with some of those ideas.

Having Fun With Therapy

Keely is doing great!  She's been completely off of her sleep schedule because of the garage sale and all the prep before hand, that we have spent the past week trying to correct it.  She had a great morning at therapy today, she was happy and upbeat, Emily (her fabulous physical therapist :) was even able to trick her into doing tummy time for a couple of minutes before she could realize what was happening. Emily is AWESOME!

If you ever see a picture of Keely with an I-phone while doing therapy, just know that the only song that is playing is Third Day's, "Born Again".....That song is her FAVORITE song and the only way we can get her to endure tummy time.....whatever works...

Sorry, I'm a little behind on posting but this past week has been so crazy!  Nick, Keely, and I would like thank everyone for their support with the garage sale.  The garage sale was a wonderful success, we raised almost $2400 & $1110 from outside donations and we couldn't have done it without you!  Thank you to everyone who donated, prayed, stopped by, and even helped out with the garage sale.  You have no idea what that means to us or truly what you have done.  Thank you to those of you that gave something special to Keely, she will forever be blessed by your generosity.  Thank you to everyone at New Hope Church of Christ for letting us have the garage sale there, that was truly a blessing!  We had so much stuff that was donated and the church was the best place to have it.  Thank you to everyone for going out of your way to help and we pray that God will bless you tremendously in return!

Garage Sale Set-up

We just want to thank everyone for all the donations, there was so much response, it was just a wonderful blessing to see so many giving people!  You have no idea what this means to Nick & I, hearing how Tiny Kidd has touched so many people, it has touched us more than words can say.  I think we've cried more in the past couple of weeks than ever.  We are truly humbled by everyone's generosity, their loving words, & prayers!

So we spent all of Thursday getting everything hauled over to the church, we completely filled up a 26 ft U-haul truck with donations and there was still more that showed up while we were there!!  We want to thank our awesome family & friends for organizing this massive project, people just jumped in without hesitation.  The garage sale is HUGE, there is soooo much stuff! We priced everything low....the way a garage sale should be. We also already had a few people stop in and buy stuff and some came back 3 & 4 times.  God is Good. There is furniture, tons of baby items/clothes, appliances, tools, office, housewares, decor, outdoor, riding lawn mower, fitness, holiday, electronics, clothes of all ages & sizes, lighting, counter top, blinds, and much much more.  They are also selling:  Donuts, Hot dogs, Pop, Water, & Baked Goods!!!

Tiny Kidd did so well today and even only having a 10 min nap!  She just loved watching all the action!
